Located on Airport Road in Hinesville, Georgia, House of Prayer Christian Church (HOPCC) brethren dedicate themselves to preaching the truth about the Bible and about the power of prayer. Using the Bible as their foundation, HOPCC members strive to liberate those they see as oppressed by Satan’s efforts to deceive humanity and keep them from the gift of eternal life.
Based on Jesus’ life and teachings, HOPCC spreads the idea that through acceptance of the Lord, Christians experience lives of hope and peace. The organization teaches that gospel accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, as well as New Testament books the Acts of the Apostles and St. Paul’s letters to the Romans, reveal God’s purpose for human beings.
Salvation begins with the truth of love as described in the Gospel of John. In chapter three, verse 16, the author taught that God’s love sent Jesus as the way to attain eternal life. In the third chapter of Romans, the apostle Paul wrote that sin keeps individuals from experiencing God’s glory and, in chapter six, that sin pays sinners with death. To save humanity from such finite misery, God sacrificed Jesus, his son.
